Community Guidance Center in Indiana provides administrative support to the Psychiatric Services Department. You will answer calls, document them, and route to nurses, the practice manager, the primary therapist, and directors. You will review attendance and caseload reports to assist department leadership.
You will help schedule psychiatrists and CRNP/PA appointments, ensure lab work is attached, scan and attach records, manage releases of information, and maintain chart integrity.
Provide support services to Psychiatric Services department by:
Acting as a liaison between department directors and staff to ensure coordination of care using open communication
Review the schedule for the psychiatrists and CRNP/PA at least one day prior to appointments while exercising social responsibility. This includes but is not limited to:
Psychiatric Services SPU’s without consumer’s signatures are identified on the provider’s appointment as a note to review and obtain signature
Provide secretarial support services to the Psychiatric Services Department. This includes but is not limited to:
Assist Practice Manager in tracking SPU’s due/overdue.
Coordinate and update of all psychiatric services only consumer information such as opening, closing and transferring cases in the automated client registry. Also, processing of necessary authorization requests, case reviews and case revisions.
