Job summary

The State of Ohio's Heartland Behavioral Healthcare seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to join the Central Nursing Office. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate staffing for 7p–7a shifts, and report to shift leadership, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This exempt, full-time role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to meet ANA, TJC, and HCFA standards and to support patient recovery goals at the Massillon campus.

Qualifications

• Current license as registered nurse in Ohio.
• 24 months of psychiatric nursing experience or care for persons with developmental disabilities.
• 3 months training or 3 months experience in employee training and development; 3 courses or 9 months in public relations; 3 courses or 9 months in counseling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing and direct care staff including RNs, LPNs, and Therapeutic Program Workers.
• Ensure optimal staffing coverage and real-time adjustments based on patient acuity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide reports to next shift leadership.
