Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN night shifts (7 pm–7 am) to provide inpatient psychiatric nursing care for adolescents aged 11–17. The role involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and promoting safe, patient-centered care.

The RN will implement the nursing process, monitor patients, and participate in education and care planning within a supportive hospital setting. Florida RN licensure and ADN/ASN are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN/ASN required; Florida RN licensure required.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on the designated unit.
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise nursing care per the treatment plan.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Initiate restraints or seclusion when required and assess continuation.
