Red Rock Behavioral Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse in Hobart, OK to provide clinical nursing care and coordinate medical/psychiatric services. The role entails assessments, treatment, medication administration, documentation, and collaborative care planning with the Psychiatrist and care teams.

The position requires an Oklahoma RN license, strong communication, and the ability to work shifts. Experience in a psychiatric setting and psychotropic meds knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with physical assessment and medical emergencies.
• Ability to work shift-work.
• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and psychiatric nursing practices preferred.
• Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Mental health nursing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments to identify client needs and plan care.
• Provides treatment for existing and emergency health conditions.
• Assesss medical status throughout client stay and discharge appropriately.
• Consults with Psychiatrist for changes in medical status and level of care.
• Administers medications and maintains clinical charts.
• Documents care according to nursing standards and agency procedures.
• Supports Care Plans for consumers with the Red Rock Health Team.
• Educates clients on potential side effects of injectable medications.
