Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care and coordinate medical/psychiatric services for clients in Hobart, OK. The RN will ensure continuity of care and collaborate with psychiatrists to adjust treatment as needed.

The role requires performing assessments, administering medications, maintaining charts, and supporting care plans while complying with nursing standards and agency procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with physical assessment and handling medical emergencies.
• Must be able to work shift-work.
• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and procedures preferred.
• Experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs nursing assessments to identify client needs and plan of care.
• Provides treatment for existing and emergency health conditions.
• Assesses admission appropriateness and ongoing care throughout stay.
• Consults with Psychiatrist for medical status changes and referrals.
• Administers medications and maintains clinical charts.
• Monitors medications, inventories and responses to therapy.
• Oversees Mental Health Assistants/Technicians during shifts.
• Documents progress and coordinates with other programs and clinicians as needed.
• Assists in mental status assessments and wellness exams.
• Performs nursing duties under supervision and collects routine lab specimens.
