Job summary

Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health seeks a Psychiatric RN to deliver compassionate patient care in a hospital setting. The role requires leadership and mentoring of staff, ensuring high standards of psychiatric nursing, safety, and accurate record-keeping.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with psychiatric nursing experience preferred and will work 7pm–7:30am in a flexible full-time or part-time arrangement. Trauma-informed care expertise is valued in maintaining a healing environment.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred (2 years).
• Graduate of a registered school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and supervision in a psychiatric facility.
• Assist supervisor and supervise auxiliary staff.
• Schedule staff and coordinate in-service education.
