Job summary

Conway Behavioral Health Hospital in Conway, AR is hiring Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (12 hours) with every other weekend. The facility treats adults and adolescents with mental health issues and co-occurring addictions, offering comprehensive care in a respectful environment.

The position requires RN licensure, a year of nursing experience (psychiatric experience a plus), CPR and de-escalation/restraint certs, and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current RN license as required by Arkansas.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral health experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Ensure nursing orders are transcribed correctly and followed.
• Monitor patient status and document changes promptly.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in patient condition.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Provide therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff and patients.
