Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Lourdes Hospital psychiatric unit. The role focuses on direct patient care, care planning, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment within a faith-based health system.

You will assess patients, administer medications, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to quality outcomes while upholding the institution's mission and standards.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred for this role.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BLS preferred at hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the plan of care while monitoring progress.
• Assess and document patient conditions; report changes as needed.
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids with thorough documentation.
• Inspect wounds, change dressings, assist with personal hygiene.
• Collaborate with providers and the health care team to ensure excellent outcomes.
