Job summary

Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver expert nursing care in a psychiatric setting. You will assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, and monitor progress to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience, and preferred behavioral health exposure. BLS is required (ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS). Epic EHR training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure
• 1 year of professional RN experience
• Recent Behavioral Health experience preferred
• BLS required (ACLS acceptable if BLS not available)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to the plan of care and nursing scope
• Assess and document patient conditions and changes
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids with thorough documentation
• Inspect wounds and assist with hygiene and dressing changes
• Apply interviewing skills to plan and implement treatment
• Collaborate with providers and health professionals to ensure outcomes
• Other duties as assigned
