Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital Inc. in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care for children, adolescents and adults.

The RN will assess mental health needs, plan individualized care, monitor medications, and ensure patient safety through milieu management and crisis intervention strategies. Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an active Michigan RN license; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Michigan required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients using the nursing process.
• Assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor medications and treatments for safety and efficacy; ensure milieu and crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate in development and implementation of department policies and treatment plans.
