Valley HealthCare System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the V-ACT program in Morgantown, WV. The RN will provide direct nursing care, oversee medical needs, and coordinate with LPNs and other staff.

The role requires psychiatric nursing experience, WV RN licensure, and strong adherence to nursing standards. This on-site position includes coordinating care with the V-ACT team and supporting client treatment planning.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Current WV RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing protocol, theories, principles, and practices.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing services to program clients, including medication delivery/administration, blood draws, and other nursing assessments.
• Provides medical oversight to clients as needed.
• Provides transportation to program clients as needed.
• Attends psychiatric and medical appointments with program clients as necessary.
• Maintains and organizes medical sections of client charts and MARs.
• Documents all client contacts and services within 24 hours of the service.
