Job summary

HealthPort is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Residential Specialist to support residents in Princess Anne, MD. The role involves assisting clients with daily living skills, monitoring health needs, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment during 3–4 overnight shifts per week (4 pm–8 am).

You will document care activities in the EHR, uphold HIPAA and licensing standards, and collaborate with a compassionate team to promote recovery-oriented care in a certified behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience using EHR.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, maintain professional boundaries, and support recovery‑oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support residential clients in all aspects of daily living skills.

• Maintain the residence providing a safe and clean environment.
• Positive role modeling and ensuring communication is respectful and culturally appropriate.
• Complete schedules, notes, and shift logs in the EHR.

Schedule:3‑Day or 4-Day work week 4 pm to 8 am

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for assisting clients with activities of daily living skills and shared responsibility for all clients in the house. The weekly work schedule consists of 3-4 overnight shifts including a Saturday or Sunday
