Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse to provide care for individuals, families, and communities. The role emphasizes prevention, education, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders in varied settings.

Local pay is $62/hr with travel pay options listed. Schedule options include 36 or 48 hours per week, rotating shifts, orientation, and 1 year of inpatient psych experience preferred. CO location: Pueblo.

Job description

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Local Pay: $62/hr

Travel Pay: $2,669 gross weekly for 36 hours

$3,500 gross weekly for 48 hours

Location: Pueblo, CO

Hours: 36 hours a week or 48 hours a week - option for 36/48 hour rotating schedule

Orientation is 40 hours for the first 2 weeks on day shift

Notes: must have 1 year of inpatient/corrections/drug and alcohol psych experience

Start: 1st and 3rd week of every month with the exception of July and December only having one start date

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
