Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse with a broad nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. The PMH RN will perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, making timely clinical judgments and coordinating patient care across settings.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in-state, with psych experience preferred, and PMH-BC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in-state/currently practicing.
• One year of psychiatric experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
