Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for travel assignments in New Mexico. The PMH RN will provide comprehensive mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders, across diverse settings.

You will bring RN licensure in-state, psych experience (1 year preferred), and CPR; PMH-BC preferred. We offer competitive pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and recognition programs; benefit eligibility

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
