Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Iowa City, IA. The role requires strong nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise, with duties spanning assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

You will provide comprehensive care across settings, promoting well-being through education and coordination of patient care.

Formación

• Current RN licensure in-state.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
