Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Rutland, VT. The role focuses on mental health and developmental disabilities, with a 40-hour work week on a traditional Monday–Friday schedule, and potential weekend coverage.

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• (1) RN
• Setting: Developmental Services Residential Home.
• 40 hrs/week
• Local Pay: $55/hr
• Travel Pay: $2606
• Rutland, VT
• Temp Contract – 13 Weeks with likely extension
• Start date: Any Monday in October
• M-F - 1st shift.
• E/o Weekend typically required
• Adult Population
• Serves individuals with developmental disabilities and provides supportive behavioral health oversight

Location: Rutland, VT

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
