Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Dalton, GA. The role requires psych nursing expertise and licensure to practice in-state, with preferred PMH-BC certification.

Expect 36 hours per week and a pay rate of $1,820 per week. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, with emphasis on clinical judgment and coordination of patient care across settings.

Competenze

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in-state practicing.
• One year of psych experience preferred.
• PMH-BC certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing,psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-beingthrough prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health RegisteredNurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. ThePsychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings andprovides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities whenapplicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
• One year of psych experience preferred
• PMH-BC certification preferred
