Dartmouth Health's Psychiatric Care Unit operates as a 24-bed inpatient and Designated Receiving Facility, focused on empowering patients in a therapeutic setting. Expect an average stay of 8 days and opportunities to support patient healing.

This is a part-time role with 2x12-hour night shifts per week, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include assessing and planning individualized care, critical thinking to adjust plans, advocating for patients, mentoring staff, and ensuring

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• RN licensure with NH eligibility is required.
• BLS certification is required or preferred as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Monitor patient status with critical thinking and modify plans as needed.
• Advocate for patients and uphold autonomy and informed consent.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to nursing practice and team development.
• Prioritize time to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate with the care team.
