Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with psychiatric experience to join our inpatient unit. The RN will deliver patient-centered care for individuals with mental health conditions, monitor responses, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 12-hour night shift.

The position requires Virginia RN licensure, at least 2 years in psychiatric care, BLS, HWC, MANDT, and TOVA de-escalation training.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Virginia.
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, HWC, MANDT, and TOVA-certified de-escalation/physical hold training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to individuals with psychiatric disorders including MDD, Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, and Anxiety.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain a safe environment for all patients.
