Job summary

The City and County of San Francisco's Department of Public Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (2548) for psychiatric services at Zuckerberg San Francisco General. You will assess, plan, and provide mental health occupational therapy across hospital units, guiding both group and individual sessions under supervision.

This part-time, temporary exempt role requires a California OT license and in-person work across hospital settings, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California Occupational Therapy License (CBOT).
• Experience in psychiatric/mental health settings preferred.
• Experience conducting individual and group occupational therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan/implement occupational therapy interventions.
• Document evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and patients to monitor progress.
