Job summary

Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide assessment and intervention for children and youth in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. Work under OT Director, contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, and support family education within the Parents Place program.

Position is part-time, 20 hours per week, non-exempt, with salary range $65,000–$70,000 depending on experience. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
2–5 years of pediatric OT experience.
Expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Integration and Learning Disabilities, with emphasis on early intervention.
Excellent knowledge of child development.
Expertise in Parent Education and Pre/School Consultation.

Responsibilities

Conducts initial sensory assessments, formulates intervention plans, and implements them in home, school, and community settings.
Collaborates with mental health, speech and language, and developmental specialists to implement treatment plans.
Maintains an ongoing OT caseload with at least 50% billable time.
Consults with pre/schools and elementary schools as assigned.
Maintains timely assessment, intervention, consultation and billing records.
