The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients in accordance with state scope of practice, collaborative protocols, and established policies. This role delivers direct psychiatric care while also providing clinical consultation to mental health and healthcare staff. The position works within state guidelines to support consistent, high-quality psychiatric services across the facility. Clinical consultation and supervision are sought as required under applicable collaborative practice requirements.

This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.
1 day on site, typically a 10 hr day. Currently this is scheduled for Mondays, however, could be changed to another day during the week. On call 24/7, however, most contacts would occur three times per day during batched calls times. The purpose of this is for medication verification and ordering.
