Job summary

Forge Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in New Jersey. The position is part-time (up to 20 hours/week) at our West Deptford and/or Princeton facilities and reports to the Chief Medical Officer. The compensation range is $75-95/hr, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of PMHNP experience, NJ license, ANCC PMHNP certification, and a current DEA number. Experience with substance use disorders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent consultations for general psychiatry and substance use disorders.

• Participate in team meetings with treatment staff.
• Develop and review individual treatment plans.
• Document all activities in the electronic medical record.

Who we're looking for

Forge Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have experience treating clients with substance use disorders as well as general psychiatric disorders. This position sits in our West Deptford and/or our Princeton facilities, and reports into our Chief Medical Officer. Please note, this position is part time (up to 20 hours/week), and the typical compensation range is $75-95/hr, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

• Provide psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals for general psychiatry as well as substance use disorder specifically.
• Provide consultation to non-prescribing mental health staff and medical staff about diagnosis, treatment and/or the need for psychiatric medication
• Participate in team meetings with the treatment staff
• Regularly participates in the creation of individual treatment plans for patients, and reviews plans already in place
• Document all activities in the electronic medical record in a timely, concise, and clear manner

How we define success

• 2+ years experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in NJ, and a current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Must possess a current DEA number
