Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Part Time

About us: Forge Health is a mission-driven outpatient mental health and substance use provider dedicated to providing the highest quality, affordable, and effective care to individuals, families, and communities in need.

Who we’re looking for: Forge Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have experience treating clients with substance use disorders as well as general psychiatric disorders. The successful candidate will ideally be in‑person sitting in our Manchester, NH facility, or can be performed remotely, and reports into our Chief Medical Officer. Please note, this position is part‑time (up to 20 hours/week), and the typical compensation range is $75‑90/hr, depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide psychiatric care, including admission evaluations, follow‑ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals for general psychiatry as well as substance use disorder specifically.
  • Provide consultation to non‑prescribing mental health staff and medical staff about diagnosis, treatment and/or the need for psychiatric medication.
  • Participate in team meetings with the treatment staff.
  • Regularly participate in the creation of individual treatment plans for patients, and review plans already in place.
  • Document all activities in the electronic medical record in a timely, concise, and clear manner.

How we define success:

  • 2+ years experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in NH, and a current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Must possess a current DEA number.
