Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine seeks clinicians to join a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated therapy and medication management in outpatient settings across the Southeast. The role supports collaborative care with a supervising psychiatrist and emphasizes comprehensive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.
• Active DEA registration.
• Board certified or board eligible in PMHNP-BC or PA-C.
• Experience with medication management in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist to deliver care.
• Participate in new-hire orientation.
• Maintain timely health records in the EHR.
• Deliver medication management and psychotherapy per standards of care.
• Refer patients internally for medications, psychotherapy, and other treatments.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work collaborative with a supervising psychiatrist

• Practice standard of care for the delivery of medication management and psychotherapy services
• Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other needed treatment modalities

Medication Management Required, Therapy Management Preferred

• Ability to utilize the EHR and other software for care delivery
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of mental illness & related issues.
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
