Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine is seeking a qualified clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in a flexible full-time outpatient role. You will co-manage patients with a supervising psychiatrist, balancing therapy and medication management to optimize outcomes.

Applicants should hold an unrestricted license in North Carolina, have an active DEA, and be board-certified or eligible as PMHNP-BC or PA-C. The practice offers administrative support and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice in the state of care delivery.
• Active DEA license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible PMHNP-BC or PA-C.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation workflows.
• Understanding of mental illness models, diagnosis, and continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a supervising psychiatrist to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in new-hire orientation and onboarding.
• Maintain timely health records within our EHR.
• Deliver medication management and psychotherapy per standard of care.
• Refer patients internally for medications, therapy, and other treatments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work collaborative with a supervising psychiatrist

• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
