Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine in the Southeast is seeking a clinician to join a team with over 40 years of combined behavioral health experience. The role focuses on medication management and psychotherapy within an interdisciplinary setting, with flexible full-time schedules and outpatient care.

You will collaborate with a supervising psychiatrist, maintain health records in our EHR, and contribute to access expansion in communities with limited behavioral health options.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice in the state of care delivery.
• Active DEA license.
• Board certified or board eligible (PMHNP-BC or PA-C).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist.
• Participate in new-hire orientation.
• Maintain timely health records within the EHR.
• Practice standard of care for medication management and psychotherapy.
• Refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other treatments.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work collaborative with a supervising psychiatrist

• Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other needed treatment modalities

Medication Management Required, Therapy Management Preferred

• Ability to utilize the EHR and other software for care delivery
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of mental illness & related issues.
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
