Job summary

The Career Land Center 2 in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for clients in our behavioral health program. The role collaborates with therapists, LICSWs, case managers, and other clinicians to ensure coordinated, culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and maintaining timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
• DEA certification to prescribe controlled medications.
• Certification or specialized training in psychiatric/mental health care.
• Experience working in community behavioral health settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to working with diverse communities and underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Provide medication education and support to patients and families

Job description
