Job summary

Pine Meadows Recovery is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our on-site team. You will deliver direct psychiatric care, collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff, and implement individualized treatment plans for both adults and adolescents.

The role involves prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, performing assessments, and maintaining thorough EHR documentation while staying current with best practices in psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in psychiatric nursing or physician assistant studies.
• Current and active NJ state licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. As well active DEA licensure.
• Experience in providing psychiatric care and managing psychotropic medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy in working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Charms EHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
