Job summary

The Nexus Group, PC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) for outpatient psychiatry in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time role involves comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care for children to adults in a multidisciplinary, evidence-based setting.

Candidates join a team delivering TMS and SPRAVATO therapies, with a mentorship-forward culture and a focus on growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) required.
• Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
• Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric treatment.
• Desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and follow-up care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options.

Position Overview

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient setting.

You'll become part of a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and providing patients with personalized treatment plans that improve lives.

Work Schedule

To ensure a successful onboarding experience and strong clinical collaboration:

• First 90 Days: Onsite Monday-Friday
• After Successful Onboarding: Transition to a hybrid schedule of 2-3 onsite days per week, based on clinical needs and provider performance
