Mindful Health Solutions in Austin seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based treatments, including TMS and Esketamine, in a patient-centered outpatient setting.

The role requires a Master's degree and PMHNP certification, Texas licensure, DEA registration, and telehealth/EHR proficiency. The position offers a competitive base salary, PTO, CME, 401K match, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of post-education experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
• Valid and current, unrestricted Texas NP and furnishing license.
• Valid Texas DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations including mental status and functioning.
• Deliver treatment plans and monitor responses for adjustments.
• Provide TMS and Esketamine treatments as part of care.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and management.
• Maintain timely charting in an EHR and collaborate with the team.
• Code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and other relevant health histories.
• Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Deliver cutting‑edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, while monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
• Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures.
• Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• One year of post‑education experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
• Valid and current, unrestricted, Texas NP and furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
• Valid degree, Master’s degree (or higher), from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas DEA registration.
• ANCC PMHNP board certification.
• Autonomous practice ability.
• Proficiency with EHR.
• Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
• Compassionate and motivated team player.
