Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Dayton, OH is seeking a qualified PMHNP to provide comprehensive psychiatric care across ages, from children to adults, including tele-psychiatry as applicable. You will conduct assessments, maintain records, manage medications, and collaborate with psychiatrists while traveling within the assigned service area; full-time position with benefits and productivity incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PMHNP license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Outpatient and tele-psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits across ages.
• Maintain current patient records detailing problems, plans, actions and changes.
• Instruct client caregivers.
• Manage client medications.

• Maintaining current patient records in order to clearly state problems, plans, actions, goals and changes as they occur.
• Instructing client caregivers.
• Managing client medications.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PMHNP license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Outpatient and tele-psychiatry experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work with a variety of ages including children/adolescents.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
