Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. in Evansville, Indiana, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver individualized psychiatric care to adults in long-term care settings. You will perform assessments, maintain patient records, and support caregivers, while collaborating closely with healthcare teams.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a PMHNP license. Experience in psychiatric and long-term care preferred. We offer malpractice insurance, a comprehensive benefit package, and flexible scheduling.

Our psychiatric nurse practitioners partner closely with each facility’s long-term care healthcare team to deliver individualized, high-quality mental health care for residents. • Performing face-to-face assessments and ongoing psychiatric visits with adult clients in long-term care facilities.
• Maintaining current patient records to clearly document problems, treatment plans, actions, goals, and changes as they occur.
• Educating and supporting caregivers and facility staff.
• Managing and adjusting psychiatric medications to promote stability and well-being.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• PMHNP license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental, and behavioral health services.
