Job summary

Eating Recovery Center Pathlight in Maryland seeks a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality psychiatric primary care under physician supervision.

You will evaluate patients, order medications, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate levels of care. The role includes on-call duties and as-needed weekend coverage, with a competitive Maryland salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing (BSN and MSN).
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• State licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with psychiatric specialization.
• Family Nurse Practitioner or NP with Post Masters Psych certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and monitors patient conditions in collaboration with physicians.
• Assesses health status of patients and performs examinations.
• Orders medications within statutory limits; initiates appropriate screenings.
• Collaborates with staff and other providers to improve patient care.
• Advocates for patients and participates in insurance peer reviews.
