Psychiatrist

The group is an affiliate of Rochester Regional Health (RRH), established in January 2021. RRH is an internationally recognized integrated health services organization, distinguished by multiple awards including Healthgrades awards, America's 50 Best Hospitals, Magnet Awards for nursing excellence, and Beacon Awards for Excellence.

Core Hospitals

SLH includes three hospitals and outreach clinics across St. Lawrence County, each affiliated with one of our hospitals:

1. CPH: A not-for-profit community hospital with 94 beds, offering emergency medicine, acute care, hospitalist services, critical care, and a Level III Trauma Center.
2. GH: A critical access hospital with 25 beds, providing emergency care, imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, and substance abuse programs including medicated assisted treatment.
3. MH: A 25-bed acute care hospital providing inpatient, medical, surgical, and detox services, along with outpatient services across various specialties.

The Practice

SLH Behavioral Health offers compassionate, holistic, evidence-based treatment tailored to individual needs. Our goal is to provide effective interventions to help individuals resolve emotional and psychological issues, maintain stability, and promote independence.

Our comprehensive services include behavioral health for children, adolescents, and adults, outpatient and inpatient detox programs, substance use treatment, and animal-assisted therapy.

The Position

We seek full-time Psychiatrists committed to patient-centered care, working within our new models of care, procedures, and technologies to improve outcomes throughout northern New York.

• This is a 100% outpatient position with no in-person call responsibilities.
• The psychiatrist will respond to inpatient hospital consults at CPH biweekly.
• Coverage is needed in Potsdam (CPH) and Gouverneur Hospital (GH).
• Collaborative environment working alongside psychologists, LCSWs, therapists, and nurses.
• Patients range from children aged 6+ to geriatrics.

Financial Package

Compensation: Competitive, based on MGMA benchmarks.

Signing Bonus: $25,000

Relocation Assistance: $15,000

Licensing & Dues: $2,000

CME Allowance: $4,000

Benefit Time: 240 hours

Holiday Time: 7 days
