Psychiatry Opportunity - EMPLOYED Position

Location: Just Minutes Outside of Charlotte, NC

Medical Center near Charlotte, NC is seeking a Psychiatrist to join an Adult Psychiatry / Geri-Psych practice. The facility has a 16 Bed Adult Psychiatric Unit, a 12 Bed Geriatric Psychiatric Unit, and a new 14-bed dual diagnoses unit.

Opportunity Details

• Inpatient Only
• Exclusive inpatient Behavioral Health program within Iredell County
• Facilities: 42 beds total (16 adult acute, 12 geriatric, 14 overflow)
• Team: 1 FT Psychiatrist & 2 FT Nurse Practitioners
• Responsibilities: Participate in call rotation, assist emergency and medical departments with consults
• Call schedule: One week per month, some weekend coverage
• Support staff: BH Medical Director, Director, Nurse Manager, and others
