The Mental Health & Behavioral Science Service Line at Salisbury VA Health Care System is seeking experienced Psychiatrists to serve a diverse veteran population. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric care across various settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, residential programs for substance abuse and PTSD, emergency departments, medical-surgical wards, and geriatrics.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other mental health professionals.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members through effective communication.
- Apply understanding of healthcare systems to improve patient outcomes.
