Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to facilitate care for individuals who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries, often with co-occurring mental health conditions complicating their recovery journey. Details:

1. Scope of injuries: catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injury, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, burn injury, amputation, polytrauma
2. Scope of co-occurring mental health conditions: anxiety, depression, acute stress/post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use
3. Acuity: acute, subacute, non-acute
4. Create, review, and oversee implementation of care coordination plans for injured worker patients consistent with evidence-based practice
5. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff
6. Communicate with providers regarding injured worker patients, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
7. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination
