Job summary

Third Space Therapy invites PMHNPs to join a flexible, remote practice focused on Medicaid behavioral health. You’ll conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and provide ongoing care with administrative support covering billing and credentialing, so you can concentrate on patient care. Virginia-licensed PMHNPs with BC certification, prescriptive authority, and DEA registration are preferred. Telehealth-ready clinicians welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PMHNP license in good standing.
• Board-certified PMHNP-BC with prescriptive authority.
• DEA registration and Virginia CS registration.
• Experience treating Medicaid members and performing psychiatric evaluations.
• Proficient with HIPAA-compliant telehealth.

Responsibilities

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — billing, insurance, credentialing — so you can focus on care.

What you’ll bring

• An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Virginia
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Prescriptive authority, active DEA registration, and Virginia controlled substance registration
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications
• Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
• Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus
