Job summary

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting to expand Medicaid-covered behavioral health services. We are seeking passionate PMHNPs. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and provide ongoing care to Medicaid members.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Virginia in good standing.
• National PMHNP-BC certification.
• Prescriptive authority with DEA registration and VA CSA.
• Experience with psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• Experience with EHR systems and digital tools.
• Quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office and reliable internet for virtual sessions.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.

We're looking for passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — billing, insurance, credentialing — so you can focus on care.

What you'll bring

• An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Virginia

• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

• Prescriptive authority, active DEA registration, and Virginia controlled substance registration

• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications

• Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)

• Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus
