Align Integrated Care PLLC in Sandston, VA is seeking a passionate PMHNP to join our growing team, delivering high-quality mental health care within an integrated care setting.

You will conduct evaluations, provide medication management, collaborate with therapists and physicians, and educate patients and families on treatment options.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP-BC board certification and VA NP license.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with PMH specialty.
• DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluation and psychopharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for new and existing patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans including psychopharmacology management.
• Provide medication management, including prescribing and adjusting psychiatric medications as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team including therapists, physicians, and case managers.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.

• Experience in psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacology, and behavioral health treatment
• DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated, multidisciplinary care team
