Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person psychiatric assessments, medication management, and Medicare-compliant dosing strategies for LTC residents in the Marble Falls area. • Active, unrestricted PMHNP or PMHNP-BC license.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working in LTC environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for LTC residents.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with Medicare and LTC best practices.
• Implement and document Medicare-compliant gradual dose reduction (GDR) strategies.
• Monitor and treat chronic mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and dementia-related behavioral disturbances.

In this role, you will be assigned to a facility or facilities in your local community, allowing you to build meaningful connections with the individuals you serve. You will have the opportunity to conduct in-person psychiatric assessments, medication management, and implementing Medicare compliant gradual dose reduction strategies for psychotropic medications. Clinical Care

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for LTC residents
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
