Job summary

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a Full-Time LPN Med Nurse for an onsite 7a–3p schedule in Baton Rouge. The role supports safe, consistent psychiatric care by carrying out the RN and physician plan of care in alignment with hospital policy.

You will administer medications, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-demand environment. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license.
• Psychiatric experience preferred.
• CPR and CPI must be maintained.
• Strong organization, prioritization and resource stewardship.
• Effective collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team in a high-stress, high-volume setting.
• Thorough documentation, active listening and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services.
• Reinforce patient teaching and rehabilitative measures under RN guidance.
• Administer/dispense medications per physician orders.
• Complete progress notes for 1:1 and group sessions.
• Promptly report risk-management concerns to the Director of Nursing/Administrator.
