Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric LPN to deliver nursing care in a psychiatric unit, hospital, or behavioral health setting. The role ensures adherence to the nursing process and collaborates with the care team to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should hold a current LPN license and may have 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience. We offer competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.
