Job summary

Community Medical Centers is seeking a Psychiatric Liaison to join our team in Fresno, CA. You will lead assessments and coordinate safe admission, transfer and referrals for patients in psychiatric emergencies.

As the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, you will respond to law enforcement, families, and other stakeholders while supporting a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and pursuing growth in your specialty.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Behavioral Health experience required (if qualifying as an RN).
• Licenses/certs: Bed FCDBH-5150 cert within 90 days; BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessments and coordinate safe admission, transfer, referral and more for psychiatric patients.
• Serve as liaison to the community and respond to law enforcement, families, and others during psychiatric emergencies.
• Grow in specialty alongside supportive leadership as the facility is a Level I Trauma Center."

We are looking for a Psychiatric Liaison to join our dynamic team! In your role, you will have the opportunity to lead assessments and coordinate the safe admission, transfer, referral and more with our patient population. Using your expertise, you will serve as a liaison to the community and respond to law enforcement, friends, families, and others in order to serve patients who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency.

As the only Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, you will have the opportunity to grow in your specialty alongside a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 2 years of Behavioral Health experience required (if qualifying as an RN)
• One of the following is required:
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health or related field
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Licenses and Certifications

• FCDBH-5150 - Fresno County 5150 Cert required within 90 days of hire or transfer into position
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• One of the following is required:
• LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• LPCC - State of California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
