Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• NCI-APS (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills) Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for psychiatric emergencies.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care with healthcare team and patient/family.
• Communicate plan of care to all team members and involve family in assessment and treatment.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care.
• Document nursing process accurately and in accordance with hospital policy.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
