Job summary

Acclaim Health in collaboration with JPS Health Network seeks a Physician – Psychiatric Emergency Center (Days) to deliver direct clinical care to patients with acute psychiatric emergencies in Fort Worth, TX.

The PEC Physician provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and disposition planning in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting, coordinating with residents, APPs, nursing and social work to ensure safe, efficient care and timely disposition.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Residency and/or Fellowship trained in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for patients in the psychiatric emergency center.
• Develop stabilization and treatment plans in a high-acuity environment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise and/or mentor psychiatric staff such as advanced practice providers and residents.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work and other team members to support efficient patient flow.
