Job summary

Acclaim Health in Fort Worth, Texas, is expanding its Psychiatric Emergency Center and seeks a licensed Advanced Practice Provider to join a multidisciplinary team delivering 24/7 crisis care. The APP will provide psychiatric triage, evaluations, and short-term stabilization alongside physicians, nurses, social workers, and support staff.

The role requires a PMHNP or PA with PMHNP certification, Texas licensure, DEA and BLS, and a minimum of one year in psychiatry.

Qualifications

Job Description

The new Psychiatric Emergency Center, on the southwest side of the campus along Allen Street at South Jennings, is the only one in Tarrant County and will have three times the number of care spaces than our current facility. A highly skilled team of Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, social workers and support personnel provide 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week services for people in mental health crisis, both voluntary and involuntary services.

The Psychiatric Emergency Center provides patient-centered care for all individuals who present for evaluation. The multidisciplinary team assesses the person and their situation to coordinate care for the best possible treatment plan.
