Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced nurse leader for a 0.9 FTE shift-based role (days/evenings). The position oversees a 36-hour work week, with a schedule of 5x8s and 4x8s alternating weeks, and includes a base rate with a night shift differential. Benefits eligible.
The incumbent directs patient care for a designated shift, models professional nursing, and promotes advocacy in line with the ANA Code of Ethics.
Overview: Shift: Days- 11pm- 7:30am 0.9 FTE (36 hours a week)- Monday - Friday, No weekends. (Schedule- 5x 8-hour shifts and 4x 8-hour shifts on alternating weeks) Base rate starts at $39.90, pay to be commensurate with experience. Plus $4.90 Night Shift Differential. Benefits Eligible.
Job Description Summary: Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall patient care and functions in a particular area during an assigned shift. Serves as a role model to positively influence culture and work environment. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Education Requirement: BSN, required.
Licensure Requirement: Current Ohio Nursing License, required.
Certifications: BLS, required.
Experience: Two years nursing experience, preferred.
